Siemens have an exciting opportunity for a Quality and Business Improvement Lead to join the Siemens Aero Derivative Gas Turbine (AGT) business.

You will join a join a growing and dynamic team which is key to the AGT Overhaul function. The key focus will be to look at customer satisfaction, quality and process improvements. This is an ideal opportunity to be part of a growing function and there is plenty of scope to develop the business and quality tool sets. Training and support will be provided as required.

Over the past few years, our aero-derivative turbine business has successfully grown to be a €700million per annum global business by focusing on the supply and support of aero-derivative gas turbine packages and equipment to the global oil & gas and power generation markets. The business has supplied over 4,000 gas turbines to customers in over 80 countries accumulating over 200 million hours of operating experience. It is our vision to be the customers’ first choice for distributed power generation and compression systems solutions.

What part will you play?

  • Understand and provide customer view of quality expectations for overhauls function

  • Review current quality performance and initiate and drive improvement through raising CAPA’s (Corrective Action and Preventative Action’s), QN (Quality Note) and gap analysis/audit

  • Delivery of Process Improvement & Innovation and Continuous Improvement Initiatives for AGT Overhauls Function

  • Establish Operational, Quality and Improvement Measures and Metrics

  • Successful Implementation of Operational, Process and System Improvements that increase the Value and Efficiency of the Overhauls Function

  • Plan and manage with the process owner’s successful delivery of improvements & process and procedure updates

  • Provide governance of Processes and Quality Management System  (QMS) pertaining to Overhauls

Desirable 
  • Aeroderivative Gas Turbine Product knowledge 
  • Familiar and experience of working with ISO9001 QMS

  • Awareness and knowledge of EHS and Environmental Management systems, ISO 14001(Environment) and ISO45001 (Health and Safety Management Standard) and OHSA equivalents

  • Knowledge of Siemens Quality Management Systems including EQMS (Enterprise Quality Management System)

  • Experience with technical documentation, charts/graphs, analysis and review of data, value stream mapping and process mapping

  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, or willing to work towards

  • Quality Management qualification or working towards a Quality Management or Project Management qualification

  • Auditor/Lead Auditor qualification or willing to works towards
