Andy Holey

A highly accomplished aerospace industry executive with over 25 years of experience spanning business development, commercial leadership, program management, and international operations. Currently serving as Business Development & Commercial Director at Magellan Aerospace Limited, where, since February 2022, he has led strategic growth initiatives, strengthened key customer relationships, and driven commercial performance across the UK aerospace market. Previously, they held senior leadership roles at Brookhouse Aerospace Limited, including Head of Business Development and NPI Project Manager, where he was responsible for the successful introduction of new composite programs and the expansion of the company’s customer engagement strategies. Andy’s tenure at Gardner Aerospace spanned more than a decade and encompassed a series of progressively senior roles, including Program Manager, Site Director – Bangalore, and Programme Manager. During his period, he played a critical role in Gardner’s global expansion by overseeing the strategic transfer of thousands of aerospace components from the UK and France to India. As Site Director, Andy led the transformation of the Bangalore facility, implementing Western manufacturing practices, deploying an MRP system, modernising production infrastructure, and navigating complex regulatory, cultural, and logistical landscapes. Additionally, in a secondment as Supply Chain and Customer Account Manager, he significantly enhanced supply chain performance by embedding KPI-driven operational frameworks and SQCDP methodologies. Earlier in Andy’s career, he held commercial and customer-facing positions including roles in Business Development and Sales, Commercial Manager, and Rolls-Royce Business Manager at Gardner Aerospace Ilkeston. Throughout, he demonstrated strong commercial acumen, a customer-centric approach, and the ability to deliver results in high-performance, quality-driven environments. With a proven track record of leadership in complex, cross-cultural settings, and deep expertise in the aerospace manufacturing and supply chain landscape.
