Raplas Technologies Ltd is a British manufacturer of large-scale high precision stereolithography (SLA) 3D printers. Based in Sully, South Wales.
Raplas has a global customer base, supplying some of the largest companies in the world with our production resin machinery. Our technology supports a variety of applications from end-user parts to prototypes and investment casting models.
Raplas machines are ‘unlocked’ meaning you are free to use any brand material of your choice. This enables customers to create parts exactly to their requirements.

Market experience:
The company was registered in the UK by its founding members, each of whom had more than 25 years’ experience in the additive manufacturing industry. Dr Richard Wooldridge, our CEO, was a prolific user of additive manufacturing technologies during his 40-year career at Ford Motor Company as 3D Printing Technical Specialist for Europe. Paul Freeman, our CTO, has been a designer and manufacturer of 3D printers since the birth of the industry. Philomena Chan, the head of our manufacturing facility in Sully, has worked with Paul for most of her career and is an expert not just in manufacturing but in logistics, inventory control and customer service.

Key Contributions to Defence sector:
Raplas is witnessing a huge amount of interest from the defence sector in both USA and UK.
We already supply machines into the US defence supply chain, and directly to the US Army.
At the request of this sector, we have written and integrated cutting-edge security measures with ultra-secure military approved operating software, enabling defence organisations to harness the power of additive manufacturing technology whilst maintaining the highest level of data integrity and protection.
Raplas is keen to work with and extend this advantage to the Welsh Aerospace and Defence group.
