The Smart Manufacturing Data Hub (SMDH) project is a collaboration of 12 major UK institutions, including Industry Wales and the University of Cambridge, and funded by the UK government. The goal of this project is to provide completely free digital sensors, dashboards and access to data specialists for companies to improve operational understanding and increase productivity.
Cambridge’s role in the project is to offer free industrial IoT sensors which can help companies begin monitoring factors like energy consumption, temperatures and air quality, which they might not have the time or resources to invest in otherwise.
The attached flyer has more details and you can contact Ioan from the University of Cambridge for any further info and to see how this project could assist your business.
