The structure of this programme is day release one day per week for level 4 and level 5 and then attending university day release for level 6. The Engineering Degree Apprenticeship programme is accredited by the IET and IMechE for Incorporated Engineer status. The programme would be 5 years in duration for new entrants. Should staff already have, for example, a HNC or HND, their prior learning would be taken into account and they may be eligible to study only the last 2 or 3 years of the programme.

Due to Welsh Government requirements it is important to confirm indicative numbers as soon as possible to secure the funding. For this reason companies need to indicate their interest in taking part in this programme as soon as possible but prior to 31st October 2019.
