We are researching into “Management decision making in Welsh-based Manufacturing businesses such as how the AI or smart technologies will have an impact”.
- The main purpose of my research is to identify “how Managers/leaders take decisions and how AI/smart technologies can play a complementary role in the future” such as Industry 4.0 technologies etc.
- As part of my research, we are currently looking for participants in the manufacturing sector who are involved in decision making for instance day to day, operational, strategic, business etc. – they can be supervisors, managers, directors, and/or hold any other role where they specifically involve in any decision-making in the company.
- To understand better how attitudes, expectations, and experiences changed and how we can empower the leaders/managers and workforce in the manufacturing sector of Wales to embrace all these changes and challenges.
- Finally, we will share the outcomes of our research with the policy makers and conduct interviews with them and find out how they can support the manufacturing sector.
