There will be a Wales Pavilion in Hall 1, stand #1221 at this year’s Farnborough Airshow and we are now inviting applications from AWF Member companies to stand share with us, whether you operate in the Aerospace, Defence or Space sectors
More details can be viewed on Business Wales, together with an EOI form which should be completed and returned to itd.events@gov.wales. The closing date for EOI’s is 16.00hrs 23 April. Please be as detailed as you can on the form as every application is scored based on the information contained within your document.
The exhibitor package is only £2,000 + vat Travel, accommodation and subsistence is not included. If your application is successful, it will include the following:
- A dedicated exhibitor pod on the Wales pavilion with graphic panel, cupboard, power supply and access to storage.
- Access to a meeting table on stand
- At least one exhibitor pass for the 5-day duration of the event
- Inclusion in UK marketing material and associated networking events where available
- Bid for meetings with UK and international civil and military delegations
- Engage with key businesses and decision makers at the event, including your fellow stand partners
- Inclusion in Wales social media schedule and potential PR opportunities
- The stand’s logistics are all taken care of with experienced events and marketing professionals
The team at Aerospace Wales are also working with the Department of Business and Trade on their UK Supplier Discovery Tours, which will only be open to stand sharers, and includes Boeing Commercial Airplanes, Boeing Defense, Space & Security – space and defence divisions, Lockheed Martin – all divisions, Airbus Civil and Boom Supersonic
Visiting the show
If you’re planning to visit the show for a day or so rather than exhibit, you’re welcome to use the Wales stand as a meeting space*, recharge your tech, and meet with the Welsh Government team, the Aerospace Wales Forum and Space Wales, free of charge. All we ask in return is that you complete an outputs form onsite before you leave.
