Connecting the UK space and semiconductor ecosystems / Cysylltu ecosystemau gofod a lled-ddargludyddion y DU.
The Beyond Earth: Space & Semiconductor Collaboration Forum brings together the UK space, semiconductor, photonics, research and innovation communities to explore new collaboration opportunities at the intersection of advanced semiconductor technologies and future space systems.
As the global space sector continues to grow, semiconductors are becoming critical enabling technologies for communications, power systems, sensing, autonomy, photonics and in-space manufacturing.
This one-day forum will examine how the UK can build stronger cross-sector collaboration between the space and semiconductor ecosystems, with a focus on:
- Advanced semiconductor technologies for space applications
- Power electronics, photonics and communications
- Skills, talent and workforce development
- Funding, regulation and innovation pathways
- Building long-term strategic collaboration networks
The event builds on previous Beyond Earth discussions around skills, regulation and funding as key enablers for collaboration, and aims to support the development of an ongoing Beyond Earth working group.
This event is part of the UK Beyond Earth Network (UK-BEN) led by the Satellite Applications Catapult and the North West Space Cluster.
