Friction Technology Ltd is a specialist precision manufacturer of high-performance friction materials and controlled motion components for safety critical applications. We combine material science expertise with advanced manufacturing capability to support customers from early-stage development through to full serial production.

Our facility integrates in house formulation, high quality CNC machining, wire erosion and precision finishing, alongside dedicated bonding and assembly areas. This vertically integrated approach ensures full control over quality, traceability and performance at every stage of production.

FTL manufactures complete friction components, including back plates, friction materials and bonding processes, providing customers with full control over quality, traceability and performance from material through to finished assembly.

FTL develops and refines proprietary friction formulations in house. Application design parameters are carefully assessed to recommend the most appropriate material solution or alternative specification, ensuring optimal performance and durability.
