OR3D Ltd is a Chirk-based specialist in industrial computed tomography (CT), 3D scanning and metrology, and geospatial surveying. The business operates across three divisions: OR3D CT (industrial CT inspection services, scanner sales and software training), OR3D 3D Scanning and Metrology (dimensional inspection, reverse engineering, quality control), and OR3D GEO (drone-based surveying, LiDAR, laser scanning). OR3D is UK & Ireland distributor for RX Solutions industrial CT systems and the only UK Hexagon-authorised trainer for VGSTUDIO MAX CT analysis software.

Quality Approvals:

Currently qualifying to EN4179 (European aerospace standard for NDT personnel certification) through ISANDT, BINDT-approved – on track to become the first company in Wales to work to the standard for industrial CT.

Market experience: More than 10 years serving customers across aerospace, defence, automotive, medical and advanced manufacturing. Growing specialism in inspection of components produced by metal additive manufacturing and composite processes – parts that are increasingly moving into flight-critical aerospace applications and are ideally suited to industrial CT inspection.
