Horizon Europe – what is it and how can Welsh companies get involved?

Horizon Europe is the EU’s flagship research and innovation funding programme, offering significant opportunities for businesses to collaborate internationally, develop new technologies and access funding for innovation.

However, we appreciate that for many SMEs, Horizon Europe can seem complicated or difficult to navigate – particularly if you have never applied for funding or participated in an EU-funded project before.

This session will provide a practical introduction to Horizon Europe, including:

• What Horizon Europe is and why it could be relevant to your business
• The types of opportunities available to Welsh companies
• How to identify relevant funding calls
• How to find potential international partners
• Where Welsh companies can access support
• Practical advice on getting started

We will also hear briefly about other funding and support opportunities that may be relevant to members, giving you a broader overview of the support available to help your business innovate, grow and access international markets.
