Join FlyZero and help shape the future of sustainable aviation

We are at a pivotal moment in the history of aviation, akin to the advent of the jet age, and the race is on to create a new generation of truly sustainable aircraft. Backed by the UK government, FlyZero is a one-of-a-kind research project aiming to revolutionise the future of commercial air travel by making zero-carbon emission aviation possible by the end of the decade.

Led by the Aerospace Technology Institute, this strategic research project is bringing together a team of around 100 experts on an initial 12 month programme to investigate the design challenges, manufacturing demands and market opportunity of a zero-carbon emission future for aviation.

FlyZero is setting out to shape the next generation of global aviation with the intention of gearing up the UK to stand at the forefront of sustainable flight in design, manufacture, technology and skills.

You can be part of this revolution by joining the FlyZero team, through both secondment opportunities and individual applications. Vacancies are currently open across the team including roles in design, engineering, manufacturing, economics and strategy.
