Job Description:
• Maintaining overall accountability for the agency’s ambitious ERP replacement project and stretching efficiency agenda, providing the Project Management Plan and translating this into delivery at pace through the DECA Transformation Programme and operating model. This includes working with external governmental and non-governmental departments and business to align strategic intent.
• Managing the project plans, resources, and relationships with internal teams and external partners.
• Working closely with the SRO and internal partners to ensure clear, defined requirements are gathered and scope of work agreed.
• Ensuring changes that are brought forth after the scope are approved and evaluated to determine impact on cost, time, and effort.
• Following standard project management methodologies and proactively producing and maintaining documentation throughout the project (e.g. project management plans, issues log, risk management log, status reports, meeting agendas, and time tracking tools).
• Maintaining accurate and timely updates regarding project and time tracking.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Senior Responsible Owner (SRO) for Transformation, this role will be responsible for defining and creating the project management plan and ensuring the timely delivery of the implementation.
Developing a set of user requirements with stakeholders to ensure deliverables fall within the applicable scope and budget, advising and leading the organisation through this major ERP change.
The role includes direct line management responsibility for the ERP project team.

Skills and Experiences
Essential criteria:
Proven significant experience in full life cycle ERP implementations.
Proven significant project management experience with strong Project Management capabilities and proven experience in delivering complex projects.
Qualified Practitioner of APM, PRINCE 2 or equivalent.
Budget, commercial and Customer experience.
MS Project planning experience
Excellent stakeholder management, organisation and communication skills.
Desirable Criteria:
Previous experience operating within Public/Defence sector
Previous knowledge of working with Cloud based applications.
Good knowledge of pre-sales and customer presentations.
Worked on projects with a valuation of £100K - £2 million plus.
ITIL Foundation
Strong interest in developing PM Capability solutions and methodologies
