TRADE MISSION

AIX 2019 (Aircraft Cabin Interiors)

2nd – 4th April 2019

Hamburg, Germany

The Welsh Government is committed to supporting Wales based businesses to increase their export and domestic activity by connecting with business from around the World.  As part of that commitment, we participate in leading events that can offer exciting opportunities for our businesses.

Team Wales will be exhibiting at the Aircraft Interiors show (AIX) in Hamburg, Germany between the 2nd and 4th April.  We will exhibit as part of the UK pavilion in combination with the Aerospace Wales Forum, ADS, Department of International Trade and Invest Northern Ireland and are inviting Wales based companies to co exhibit on the Wales stand within the UK pavilion.

If you are interested in exhibiting on the Wales stand, please complete and return the attached application form by 16th January 2019. Numbers are strictly limited and a final decision will be made based on the strength of your application and strategic fit with the event.

AIX is the leading global event for the aircraft interiors industry.  It is a vibrant must attend business-to-business event presenting a diverse range of leading suppliers to European and International aircraft interiors professionals and airlines, providing a unique opportunity for the whole global aircraft interiors trade to meet, network, negotiate and conduct business.

Each year more than 16,000 senior aircraft interiors industry professionals, airlines and international press representatives etc. head to the Hamburg Messe to attend the show.

The last event broke new records in terms of attendance, and set the industry agenda for the year ahead with more exhibitors than ever showcasing and launching new products. 18,000 attendees are estimated to have attended the Passenger Experience Week, whilst the number of VIP airline attendees rose by 14% – many of whom were senior executives from more than 180 airlines located in 26 markets across the globe. There were also more than 550 exhibitors at the event –– with 145 companies exhibiting for the first time.

As a stand sharer on the Wales stand, you will have the following :

  • A branded pod that will include reasonable space to display products, a lockable cupboard, a chair and a power source for a laptop / charger.
  • An on-line profile on the MRO event website.
  • Opportunity to include your content on a looped video that will run for the duration of the show.
  • Access to meeting tables on the stand for the duration of the show.

The Welsh Government can subsidise* companies to exhibit at the show on the Welsh Government stand, potential support could include assistance with:
