TPT Consultancy and Training’s next AATT (Aerospace Auditor Transition Training) course is being run on 15th – 18th July at the Orbit Centre Merthyr Tydfil. To register for this course please contact Sarah on sarah@tptconsultancy.com.

The course is intended for aerospace and defence industry personnel responsible for establishing, implementing, and evaluating management systems, it is the course your third party certification body auditors have to attend to be registered as an AEA or AA auditor and will provide an insight in to the latest requirements being deployed in to the supply chain by Aerospace, Space and Defence Industries.

This industry recognised course can only be delivered by approved training providers listed on the OASIS database, funding for these courses can be sourced through Skills Growth Wales and we can support you identifying your HRD Advisor for further information.

MSc in Aircraft Maintenance

Our postgraduate aircraft maintenance qualification enables students to improve their knowledge of the complex disciplines involved in aircraft maintenance management and to progress their careers in this dynamic industry. The award is designed to equip individuals with a relevant undergraduate engineering degree and EASA licensed aircraft engineers with supervisory experience with the skills to manage aircraft maintenance facilities.

Essential information:

Course length:   Full-time: 1 year*   Part-time: 3 years

*Courses starting in February will take 16 months to complete.

Entry requirements:

A minimum 2:2 Honours degree in a related engineering discipline e.g. Aircraft Maintenance Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering. Or you are an EASA licensed engineering with five years relevant industrial experience. The course welcomes international applicants and requires an English level of IELTS 6.5 or equivalent.

TPT Consultancy and Training

TPT Consultancy and Training are recognised aerospace industry experts and are one of only two EAQG OPMT approved aerospace training providers in the UK.

We are now in our 20th year and support the aerospace sector by providing consultancy and training for Major OEM’s such as Goodrich and Meggitt, to SME’s. We are the preferred training partner for BSI and Bureau Veritas Certification third party certification bodies.

Our training is delivered by local TPT Consultancy and Training approved ASDE trainers. (Aerospace, Space and Defence Evaluators). The training includes both the industry recognised AATT (Aerospace Auditor Transition Training) and A.3 9100 Aerospace Industry Specific Course which offers successful participants an opportunity to gain an industry recognised qualification.

These courses are mandated by the aerospace sector for third party auditors to enable them to carry out audits against AS/EN9100, 9120 and 9110 standards and would also be beneficial for:

  • Any member of an AS9100 implementation team.
  • Trainers who want an effective method of explaining AS/EN9100, 9120 or 9110 to employees.
  • Anyone who wants to be able to conduct 1st and 2nd Party Audits.
  • Representatives from key functional groups involved in an organization’s quality management system
  • Supplier Auditors.
